Tennis balls, Wall

On your knees, throw a tennis ball against the wall and catch it with one hand. When on your knees, you can no longer correct a hand error by taking a step to the side: the mistake is immediately obvious, which is the whole point.

Key points

  • Keep your torso upright; don’t reach for the ball with your torso instead of your arm.
  • Vary the height of the point of impact on the wall.
  • Three sets of twenty per hand.

Common mistakes

  • Sitting back on your heels, which gives your chest some slack again.
  • Catching with both hands as soon as it gets hard.
