Privacy and legal notice
Route Builder works without an account. Here is what is stored, where, and who publishes the app.
On your device
Your last three workouts, your answers and the exercises you checked off are stored in your browser's storage, on this device only. The step-by-step view, opened with Start, also keeps the date of your current workout there, so you can pick up where you left off. The questionnaire in progress and the exercise bank view stay there while the tab is open. A cookie remembers your language for one year.
None of this is sent to a server, except the language cookie, which your browser includes with each visit. To erase everything, delete the site's data in your browser settings: nothing can be recovered afterwards, because nothing is copied anywhere else.
Cookie-free audience measurement, no advertising
Route Builder counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics: page views, country, device and browser type, with no cookie and no personal identifier, and without recognising you from one visit to the next. It counts in the same way the questionnaire steps reached and the sessions built and finished, to see where the flow stops: never your answers or what your session contains. No advertising tracker is set. Videos open on YouTube, which then applies its own privacy policy.
Like any host, Vercel technically processes visitors' IP addresses to serve the pages and protect the service.
How messages are processed
The publisher of Route Builder is responsible for processing and can be contacted at contact@routebuilder.app. Your email address and message are used to handle your feedback and improve Route Builder, based on the legitimate interest in improving Route Builder.
Only the person responsible and the email service providers needed to deliver and store the message receive it. Messages are deleted when they are no longer needed, no later than 12 months after receipt. An idea kept in the product backlog is stored without your identity.
Your rights
You can access your data, request its correction, deletion or restriction, and object to processing by writing to contact@routebuilder.app. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
