Skater Bounds
- Reference prescription
- Check the prescription in your workout.
- Players
- Solo
- Equipment
- None
Lateral bounds to each side, holding the landing for one second. It’s the exact movement of a 45-degree cut, broken down and held long enough for the control to show.
Key points
- Hold the landing for a full second: if you wobble, you went too far.
- Your knee stays over your foot on the landing.
- You’re after controlled distance, not maximum distance.
Common mistakes
- Chaining bounds without holding the landing: the exercise loses its whole point.
- Letting your knee cave inward on landing.
