Reaction Drill

- Equipment
- Cones
Between two cones, shuffle to follow your partner's cues. After a delay of their choice, your partner throws their helmet toward one of the two cones: that exact motion, and only that one, triggers the drive. Do not start before it.
Key points
- Your eyes stay on your partner, never on the cones: looking at them gives away your start before it happens.
- The drive only starts on the throwing motion, never on a hunch.
- Six repetitions; the partner varies the delay before throwing and the target cone.
Common mistakes
- Looking at a cone ahead of time is the same as guessing instead of reacting.
- Starting before the throw and ending up on the wrong side when it goes the other way.
