Lateral Shuffle
- Reference prescription
- Check the prescription in your workout.
- Players
- Solo
- Equipment
- None
Side-to-side shuffles over 20 yards, facing one direction on the way out and the other on the way back, so that both sides get equal work.
Key points
- Your feet should never touch: they should come close together, but not stick together.
- Keep your shoulders facing forward; only your hips should move.
Common mistakes
- Hopping instead of sliding: your center of gravity rises with every step.
- Working only one side, changing direction without changing which way you face.
