Knee-to-Wall
- Reference prescription
- Check the prescription in your workout.

- Equipment
- Wall
Knee toward the wall, heel flat on the floor, on each side. This exercise works on ankle dorsiflexion and allows you to observe whether the knee remains aligned with the foot.
Key points
- Your heel should never lift off the ground. If it does, move your foot back.
- The knee tracks over the second toe, never inward.
- Goal: The knee touches the wall with the foot a hand’s width away.
Common mistakes
- Lifting your heel to touch the wall: the measured range becomes false.
- Letting the knee cave inward instead of following the line of the foot.
