Mirror Competition
- Prescription
- 16 × breaks · 30 s restabout 10 min
- Players
- 2 minimum
- Equipment
- Cones (recommended)
Two players start facing each other from two cones (or other markers: bottles, bags). One leads and changes direction whenever they want; the other must replicate the change of direction exactly, without knowing which one is coming. Roles are switched every four repetitions. Sixteen repetitions.
Key points
- The leader gives no warning: without surprise, the drill trains nothing.
- The follower learns a break from the inside, by going through it: that’s what teaches him to sell it later.
- Stay in the lane between the two cones. The goal is a faithful copy of the move, not the distance covered.
Common mistakes
- A leader who repeats the same break four times in a row.
- A follower who anticipates instead of reacting, which turns the drill into a guessing game.
