The hip drop learned at full speed. Run ten to twelve yards flat out, then let your hips drop all at once: the plant leg digs in, your hips sink very low, and you take off again in your stride without having stopped. This is the move that opens the J turn. Change the speed of your approach from one rep to the next: the drop has to work at full speed as well as after a change of pace. Five reps per side.
